first_imgThe four-time defending champion Benton Tigers swept the Woodlawn Knights in District 1-4A baseball action Tuesday at Benton.Both games went just three innings.Connor Smith had a triple, double and four RBI in Game 1. Colby Sharp had two hits and two RBI.Eighteen Tigers made plate appearances and 14 had at least one RBI.Turner Toms, Andrew McPherson and Carson Barnette pitched one inning each.Cade Paddy went 2-for-3 with four RBI in Game 2. Eighteen Tigers made plate appearances and 12 had at least one RBI.Keagan Rogers, Drew Haynes and Cameron Rogers pitched one inning each.
