Braves’ Josh Donaldson trolls heckling Mets fan with two-homer game

first_imgJosh Donaldson had a big day at the plate on Sunday against the New York Mets. He hit two solo home runs to help complete a three-game sweep over their NL  East rivals. Donaldson apparently had a big day with a fan behind the on-deck circle as well. Donaldson went on to hit another solo shot in the seventh inning. The Braves went on to beat the Mets, 2-1. That fan may be good luck after all — just not for the right team. According to the Braves broadcast, the infielder asked the fan to touch his bat for good luck. Like a loyal Mets fan, she wouldn’t touch it for good luck but she did agree to touch it for bad luck. It turned out to be bad luck — for the Mets. Donaldson hit a home run, giving Atlanta a 1-0 lead.Before returning to the dugout, the “Bringer of Rain” attempted to get a high-five from his new friend.
