Benfica ready to sell forward wanted by Manchester United for £21m fee

first_imgBenfica are ready to sell Manchester United target Anderson Talisca this summer, but will demand in excess of £21m for the forward.The 23-year-old has enhanced his growing reputation during a fruitful loan spell with Turkish giants Besiktas, who are also reportedly keen on keeping hold of the Brazil international.Besiktas president Fikret Orman revealed to Turkish-Football: “Benfica are keen on selling Talisca, if a £21 million offer is made they will try and make the deal go through.”Talisca is currently on a two-year loan in Turkey but if his release clause is activated his temporary stay could be cut short over the summer.Orman underlined that Besiktas are currently unable to meet his release fee and that they are out of the race to sign him on a permanent basis.This has left Manchester United in pole position to land the promising youngster, with manager Jose Mourinho a long-term admirer.Talisca has been in great form for Besiktas this season scoring 10 times and providing five assists in all competitions.
