After launching the R1C smartphone sporting a sapphire glass panel display, Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has announced another 64-bit mid-ranger, the Mirror 3. The R1C smartphone also boasts of a 64-bit CPU.The Oppo Mirror 3 has been announced in China for now and is expected to retail at a price tag of around $280. Just like the R1C, there is no word yet if the Mirror 3 will be available in global markets anytime soon. The spec sheet for the Mirror 3 is a rather mediocre one at that. It sports a 4.7-inch LCD panel display with a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.The device runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with Oppo’s own Color OS 2.0.1 UI on top. It sports an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper. Connectivity options on the device include: WCDMA, GSM, dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and NFC Type A/B. It is backed by a 2000 mAh battery. Earlier, Oppo introduced an all new variant of its R1S smartphone, the R1C in China at a price tag of CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,000). The device is now up for pre-order via the company’s official website for China. Shipping shall begin from January 20.
